The museum exhibits focus mainly on the general history of Mansfield and period events, dress and articles of daily use. These exhibits are your first step in gathering research information on Mansfield and its history. Here are just a few of the many exhibit items.
The exhibits on the ground floor of the Museum focus on the history of the city, and include exhibits on education, commerce and the city founders.
The second floor of the Museum contains the offices and workrooms of the Museum staff. There is also a research area for visitors use.
The exhibits on the third floor of the Museum focus on the lives and culture of the people of Mansfield.
Occasionally the Museum will work with a historic location to create an on-site exhibit. These exhibits will be posted here as they are scheduled.
