Mansfield Historical Society
The Mansfield Historical Society was formed in 1970 with the express purpose of collecting, investigating and preserving the richness of our southern heritage, specifically genealogical, biographical and historical data about the Mansfield community and its residents. The Society oversees the operations of the Museum.
The Mansfield Historical Society meets at the Museum on the second Wednesday of the month at 11:00AM.
The Mansfield Historical Society has a variety of memberships available. We are pleased to provide our members several newsletters per year and free genealogical research assistance. We also offer assistance to our student members with school reports and projects.
Your membership is the core support for Mansfield Historical Society projects, publications and the continued support of our Historical Museum and Heritage Center in downtown Mansfield. We appreciate the participation of our members and their families. With your support, the Mansfield Historical Society strives to promote our community and its people through historical education and heritage research for residents and visitors.
